Largest-British-CompaniesIn total there are 80 largest British companies included in Forbes Global 2000 listing of publicly traded companies. In total, these most significant listed British companies account for $2.69 trillion in business earnings, $115 billion in profits, $13.9 trillion in assets, and $2.38 trillion in market value.

Each year, Forbes publicizes the Global 2000 biggest, most powerful publicly traded companies in the world. Forbes compiles this Global 2000 listing by examining Interactive Data, Thomson Reuters Fundamentals and Worldscope databases via FactSet Research Systems for listed companies. We are using these same databases for our evaluation and use four primary sources of data: sales, profits, assets and market value. These are the decisive factors for our ranking.
